Information technology, such as cloud computing, big data, Internet of things, artificial intelligence, etc. is globally rising. It rapidly advances industrial transformation and upgrading worldwide and reshapes the world economy pattern, which heralds the acceleration of a new technology age. The new round of technological revolution is bringing about new technologies, new industries, and new business models, which also profoundly affects the future of higher education.
Engineering education is now integrated deeply into the industry. In order to promote the reform and innovation of engineering education in the new technology age, and to better exchange, discuss and share the practical experience and cutting-edge achievements of engineering education reform, Dalian Neusoft University of Information (DNUI) will host 2019 CDIO Asian Regional Meeting with the theme “Reform and Development of Engineering Education in New Technology Age”in March 25-27, 2019. The meeting will set up a variety of activities, including keynote & invited speaking, contribution presentations, parallel sessions and campus/city tour. We hope that, taking this opportunity, we will share experiences and explore possibilities of future engineering education developments with fellow collaborators, engineering education performers, industry practitioners and policy makers; that this meeting will provide a platform for engineering education institutions in Asia to communicate and cooperate.
We sincerely invite you to submit your academic contributions in engineering education. Authors of selected contributions will be invited to give presentations as keynote speakers or present at parallel sessions.

Instructions for authors
1. Submissions can be research paper or PPT report in either English or Chinese, which are expected to be relevant to the main theme or sub-themes.
2. All papers should be original and unpublished; the text, illustrations, and any other materials included in the papers do not infringe (plagiarism) upon any existing copyright or other rights of anyone. If an author is found to commit an act of infringe (plagiarism), he shall take responsibility for the work.
3. High-quality contributions relevant to the themes of the meeting will have the opportunity to be presented in an oral presentation by the first author or poster presentations during the meeting, and formally published as the conference proceedings (with a book number).
4. Each author can contribute no more than two articles as the first author. The author owns the copyright, and the meeting organizer owns the editorial and use rights. The publisher shall have the right to revise the manuscripts in accordance with the publication requirements of the meeting proceedings which will be recommended to the relevant collection and retrieval institutions; submissions without making any special statement shall be deemed to have agreed to authorize the recommendation. Other media or individuals who use, reproduction or partially edit these selected papers shall obtain the consent of the author and the organizer.
The review process will follow three phases with their corresponding deadlines. The following deadlines apply for the authors:
Submission of a 500 word abstract for your full paper or PPT
November 15, 2018
Submission of a full paper (no more than 10,000 words) according to the template or the complete PPT (about 30 minutes)
December 30, 2018
Submission of the final version of the full paper or PPT revised in accord with referees’ comments
February 28, 2019
